Priceless Antiques at Affordable Prices

Bob Bennett

Bennett and Sons Antiques is owned and operated by Mr. Bob Bennett.  Bob has been in the antique business for as many years as he can remember.  When you ask him how long he’s been in the business he usually tells you ever since he was able to grab his Momma’s hand and tag along when she went out to shops and stores.  All those years of experience makes Bob a great asset to everyone who wants to know what an item is.  Have you ever seen an odd looking old item that you have no idea what it is or what it’s used for?  Bring it in and ask Bob – chances are he’ll know what it is.

Bennett & Sons is truly a family business. His sons can be found throughout the store helping customers and answering questions.

Bennett & Sons is located in the Historic Burdette Building (built in 1921). Simpsonville is located in Greenville County. It developed in the 1820s as a stagecoach stop, and throughout its history, was periodically called Plain. The once-burgeoning town struggled during the Civil War and Reconstruction, but in 1885 lots were laid out to surround a new rail line. The Woodside Cotton Mill, established in the early 1900s, was instrumental in the town’s growth, as was the installation of a large water main from Greenville.

Simpsonville is located 12 miles from Greenville. It is part of the Upstate’s “Golden Strip,” which also includes Mauldin and Fountain Inn and refers to a relatively low unemployment rate in the three towns.

This place is incredible and Mr. Bennett is beyond wonderful and reasonable! He gave us the deal of a lifetime on a beautiful antique table set! We can’t wait to come back and see what other treasures we will find for our home!
